Every guide already published — payment, ride-hailing, high-speed train, phrases, and emergency help — is free to read, and no payment is being taken anywhere on this site. If you previously purchased access, the terms below still apply to your purchase.

All currently published guides are open and free — no purchase, no signup. If something is missing or broken, email [email protected] and we will sort it out.
If you join the early access list, we store only what you send us and use it for one purpose: telling you when version 2.0 opens. No sharing, no selling, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing [email protected].
All sales are final. Once your access link has been delivered, we cannot offer a refund, because the content is digital and already in your hands.

China’s payment and transport rules change often. We update the guides and your purchase includes those updates at no extra cost. Early buyers keep access to everything added later, at the price they originally paid.
The guides are informational. They reflect what worked for us and what official sources said at the time of writing, but apps change, rules change, and local practice varies by city and by bank. Always confirm current details with the app or provider before relying on them. We are not responsible for fees, missed trains, declined cards, or any other loss arising from use of this material.
If we change these terms in a way that affects existing buyers, we will update the date above and email everyone who has purchased.
